​Many of the children we sponsor come from the poorest of rural homes, and their families can't afford their school supplies. Often only a single parent or grandparent sends them off to school with what little they have to share. Without your help, they might not have school supplies at all. Many students board at school and need blankets, netting, and extra clothes. ​
We want these kids to have books and a little more variety with their meals, so we have begun a general fund to make more available to them than just basics.

School supplies are delivered by horseback to these rural villages in times of bad weather, when vehicles cannot access the wet and muddy roads.
