In 2024, Board Member, Kayla Mitchell, introduced Blessing Hands to a school in Tanzania encouraging Maasai girls to complete their education and build a future for themselves and others. We are excited to begin this partnership with 5 Maasai girls and would love your support to encourage them to complete studies.
June of 2025, Board member Xiaomin Mai Oney and Assistant Director Jessie Mansfield traveled with one of our Blessing Hands sponsors Melissa Mahurin to Tanzania to check on our 5 sponsored students, meet new students hoping to recieve sponsorship, and visit the Talent Cultural School with over 100 students. What an amazing journey this was for all who traveled together. The joy amidst extreme poverty was evident, the excitement to recieve an education was apparent, and the love shared among each family and community was contagious. Blessing Hands is honored to visit these students and school, and look forward to building this relationship for many years to come.
